Full House for SCS
SCS Facility Services is taking yet another step forward in its ongoing expansion plans, and is now able to offer a full range of gas services directly.
The firm is now Gas Safe registered and has added yet more skilled tradesmen to its growing team. Experienced gas compliance manger and former British Gas engineer Pete Lamb, will head the new division having worked in the sector for over 40 years.
Managing Director, Sarah Southworth discusses her commitment to drive the company further forward. She said: “Ultimately we want to deliver a complete range of housing and property services from under one roof. The missing piece in the jigsaw was gas – we are currently working on an electric provision and once we do, we’ll have a full house!
“Our customers are relying on us more and more to deliver all trades. We can essentially take an abandoned property (described as a void) and carry out all works to ultimately once again make it a home. Our clients, which are largely housing associations, can feel safe in the knowledge that they are dealing with one single trusted supplier whilst we can control quality and service as our team are all directly employed.
“By operating this business model, we are undoubtedly standing out in an industry dominated by sub contactors. Our growth remains organic as we are driven by our customers to offer a complete package, which is why I feel incredibly confident in our expansion moving forward.”
SCS’s gas section, will carry out a full range of domestic gas work in dwellings, from simple gas disconnections (making properties safe) right through to the repair, replacement and servicing of heating systems.
Sarah concluded: “I’m really pleased to have taken this next vital step in our business journey that is set to create new opportunities for us in the social housing sector.”
